- Each year the Atelier Chardon Savard participates in different professional events, and students are confronted with the reality of these “fashion happenings.” Professional trade fairs are of course a part of these incontrovertible experiences, as well as young designer competitions and specific events created by businesses. In 2008 Atelier Chardon Savard students collaborated in the following events:
Le Salon du Cuir in Paris
At the end of September 2008, five former two-year students were invited to present their collections for the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione fashion show at the Salon de Cuir. The students were inspired by the structural contrasts between glass and the animal materials – leather and fur. Their installation was an overwhelming success with the professionals attending the trade fair. - The Trend Book Nelly Rodi
Level III fashion stylist students created original models to illustrate the 2010 Nelly Rodi trend book. Sold worldwide, these books are a professional reference for a large number of fashion businesses, from mass market to certain luxury ready-to-wear labels.
Introducing a New Product Range - Pébéo
The drawing and painting products brand sought the students’ creativity to promote the launch of a new range of semi-professional textile products. This partnership was a showcase for first year students who organized a press fashion show in Picasso’s former Paris atelier.
La marque de produits de dessins et peintures à fait appel à la créativité des étudiants pour promouvoir le lancement d'une nouvelle gamme de produits textiles semi professionnel. Ce partenariat a été l'occasion pour les élèves de premières années d'un défilé pour la presse dans l'ancien atelier de Picasso à Paris.
