Fashion School Events: Runway Shows & Showroom
Celebrate creativity and professional experience. Every year, the Atelier Chardon Savard organises two distinct runway shows in Paris and Nantes. These emblematic events showcase collections designed by students, presented to both the public and fashion professionals before a prestigious jury featuring notable designers. They invite you to celebrate the vitality of fashion creation and discover tomorrow’s designers.
A unique professional experience
Designing a collection under real-world conditions. In established couture houses, new collections are prepared one or two years in advance; the creative process takes about a year.
Our students sometimes have to change artistic concept several times during the year, compressing their design phase. Even though the end-of-year runway is different from a couture presentation, the timing challenge is immense.
It offers a rich learning experience with clear objectives and tight deadlines.
Designer programme fashion shows
Fashion shows tailored to each year of the Bachelor Fashion Designer. The runway projects evolve with the students’ skills and responsibilities over their three-year course. Here is how each year’s show is structured:
| Year | Objective | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1st year | Develop creativity and apply techniques on an imposed theme | Create a single silhouette in pairs or groups (around three months of preparation) |
| 2nd year | Design a collective mini-collection with a group of 15 students on a set theme | Each student produces one silhouette |
| 3rd year | Deepen technical skills and create a collection on a free theme in groups of 7–8 | Two silhouettes per student; groups select a look for the final show |
These runway projects encourage teamwork, innovation and the ability to present a coherent narrative through clothing.
Creator programme fashion show (Master level)
Express your own universe. In the Master’s Fashion Creator programme, the runway show is a culmination of personal artistic development. Each student must present around ten silhouettes.
The work is supervised by our artistic director, Patrick Teypaz, and supported by teachers in pattern-making, textiles and styling. Collections are unveiled during a prestigious show attended by professionals and invited guests, providing a platform to reveal individual creativity.

Meet the designers and discover their collections up close. After the final-year show of the Fashion Creator program, each student displays their creations during a two-day showroom hosted at the school.
One day is open to the public and the other is reserved for industry professionals. Each designer has a dedicated space with a clothing rack, portfolio and dress form to present their collection along with mood boards, lookbooks, postcards and fabric swatches.
This showroom fosters conversation and networking, allowing visitors to appreciate the craftsmanship and creative process behind each piece.
