Work in professional workshops
At our Paris campus you create your own garments in two fully equipped sewing studios. These workshops house industrial sewing machines, pressing equipment, overlockers, mannequins and cutting tables. A dedicated knitwear studio with double‑bed electronic machines and a wide range of yarns lets you experiment with various knitting techniques.
Studying couture, pattern making and design in France
France is globally recognised for its excellence in fashion, and Paris is considered the fashion capital of the world.
Studying here opens up opportunities for aspiring designers, stylists and pattern makers. French fashion schools are known for their expertise and hands‑on teaching methods.
Our bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Paris cover more than design and pattern cutting: they also include marketing, management, sustainable textile design and 3D modelling.
Most courses include internships, giving you valuable practical experience while studying.
They are strongly focused on professional integration, with many placement opportunities and collaborations with industry, including participation in haute couture fashion shows.

Barbara Curto
- Director -
The campus director holds advanced degrees in management and luxury industries and has worked for prestigious Parisian fashion houses; she now oversees the school’s overall direction.
Riccardo Paoli
- Program director -
The program director studied art history in Italy and gained experience at a renowned Italian fashion school before joining Atelier Chardon Savard, where he became director of programs.
Patrick Teypaz
- Artistic director -
The artistic director is an award‑winning designer who has been a finalist at the Hyères festival and has worked in New York and Paris; he shares his creative expertise with students.
Where are our campuses located?
Our historic campus is located in the heart of Paris, in the 11th arrondissement.
Housed in a former printing works, our studios benefit from a setting with a distinctive industrial and creative character.

To support the development of Atelier Chardon Savard and offer new spaces dedicated to creation and learning, a new, more modern and spacious campus has recently opened, also in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
Located in Cité Griset, this second site complements the historic campus.
